Working Together on Project

What We Do

RightSource was created to make access to technology careers fairer and more inclusive. As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, we reinvest all surplus into free and subsidised coaching, mentoring and training for people who face barriers to employment and progression.

Our Community Mission

As a Community Interest Company, our purpose is to widen access to career opportunities for people who are underrepresented or disadvantaged. We work with individuals who have the potential to succeed but lack access to the guidance, confidence, networks or training required to move forward. All surplus generated through our work is reinvested into free and subsidised community programmes.

Who we support

Our programmes are designed to support individuals who face barriers to entering or progressing within the technology industry, including:

  • Young people not in education, employment or training (NEET)

  • Unemployed adults seeking to retrain or return to work

  • Women facing disadvantage or barriers to progression

  • Ethnically minoritised communities

  • Refugees and migrants

  • Individuals experiencing low confidence or mental health challenges

What we deliver

  • Coaching & Mentoring: Personalised one-to-one and group coaching to build confidence, clarify career direction and support progression into technology-focused roles. Guidance on career pathways, CV development, interview preparation, workplace readiness and progression planning.

  • Professional Training: Practical, industry-relevant training designed to develop digital skills, employability and readiness for roles in the technology sector.

How our Programmes are funded

Our community programmes are delivered through a mix of:

  • Grant funding

  • Partnerships with public sector and community organisations

  • Income from paid coaching and training services delivered to organisations and individuals

This blended approach allows us to provide high-quality support at little or no cost to participants.

How to get involved

For Individuals:  If you are seeking support to move into or progress within the technology sector, we offer free and subsidised programmes depending on eligibility and availability.

For Partners & Funders: We work with local authorities, funders, employers and community organisations to design and deliver impactful programmes that create social value.
